Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They pass our cleaning tests, and can handle a variety of floors. Select models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum flooring in the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms and a large rugs and a medium-pile. It was capable of driving up to walls and even across thresholds that are raised without issue. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and raised itself when it came to carpets or rugs.

After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. To do this, you'll need to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to prevent it from clogging. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. However, automated vacuum cleaner , the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other models which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous unique features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just moving the pad across it. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station if needed.
This robot has an easy interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically emptied or filled. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that can easily remove dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are decent, but it could get stuck on small mats and rugs at my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Mopping capabilities are quite good with a pair of spinning mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor, rather than just dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops can also be refilled at the top of the station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance making it a top contender for our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our test's most filthy areas well, and eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other mess. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate narrow spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can go from one room to another without having to reverse direction. This is useful for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than other models however, and tends to leave a wide space over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is easy to use and easy to use. It should be simple to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleanings. You can also alter the suction power, mop settings as well as view 2D and 3-D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll need a stable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are excellent at removing dirt and debris but they can't reach every speck of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, and especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is made to do exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your home WiFI network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, including the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and has a plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to mop floors, the Q5 has the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also features a smart app that lets you select your floor's type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress with its 2700Pa power to take on pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested that did not have issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it was able to not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that helps it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums are unable to. The K10 Plus also collects more dust in the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as often. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters, which reduces the costs associated with using the device. This robot can also detect carpets and increase suction if needed. The app allows you to mark off areas that you want it to avoid, which is a nice feature.
